The Library

Leah: I smiled and waved as I went to get my book.

Cole: He walked up the stone steps and into the library, hoping Sofia was there.

'hey' Sofia said to August when she reached him.

'Hey' August said and smiled.

'Again here?'She asked.

'homework' He replied.

She laughed.
'Thats a good book' She said pointing the book he was holding

'My favourite' He said.

She giggled and sat on the floor. She opened her book.

He sat beside her. It wasnt necesary to say anything. They both liked silence.

Cole: When he saw Sofia he saw her with some other boy.... August. He felt a crushing sadness smake against him. He went to Leah, "Hey, Leah."

Leah: I saw Sofia sitting with August-- "Oh, hi, Cole," I said sweetly.

When Sofia finally closed the book he looked at him.

August looked at her at the same time. But he suddenly started to feel really anxious. He needed to smoke...
'Excuse me' He said to her and rushedoutside.

She understood exactly what had happened to her. She was like him. Sofia followed him and found him outside, smoking. Sofia did the same that he did

'Do you smoke?' he asked, kind of shoked.

Sofia nodded and let the smoke out.
'Since my mother died' She explained.

He nodded. He had started when he was told that he was addopted.

Leah: August walked outside and I knew what he was doing. Killing himself. He had told me he wanted to die. But, I just couldn't handle the truth. It made my heart ache to think of August...dead.

Cole: He watched Sofia go outside for a smoke. He thought smoking was kinda gross, but hey, who was he to judge?

'So.. whats your story?' Sofia asked behind the smoke

'My parents told me I was adopted a little bit late' August answered. He let the smoke out.

'Thats sad' Sofia addmited.

'Yours too' He said with a sweet smile.

She bit her lip and looked the other way.

Leah: I still couldn't get the image of August dead out of my mind, and the tears got out.

Cole: She was crying, "Hey, what's wrong?"

Leah: "Nothing," I cried. I got up and ran out the door, tears pooling down my face.

August saw Leah coming out.... crying. He turned off the cigarette, knowing that he hated seeing him smoke, and hold her
'Whats wrong?' He asked, worried.

Sofia bit her lip and sat on the floor.

Leah: I turned to August, then ran away from him. I didn't know where I was going, but I was going somewhere to gather my thoughts.

Cole: I walked outta the doors to see Leah running, and Sofia sitting on the floor. I didn't say a thing, but just watched Leah run.

Sofia looked at Arthur confuzed.

He smiled at her like saying 'Dont worry' and followed Leah

I just kept running. Till I couldn't anymore. I stopped by a tree and burried my face in my hands and cried.

(woah I didn't see that they started, who should I come in?)

Arthur didnt doubt. He runned to his friend, and hugged her waiting for her to talk

Broken sobs came out endlessly before I got myself together. "A-A-August?" I asked.

'Yes leah' He said still hugging her.

"Please... Please, stop smoking. I don't want you to die. I don't care if you don't care about life. But, I care about you. And, thinking about you dead doesn't exactly give me a fuzzy-warm feeling on the inside..."

I got bored so I decided to go to the library. I am like one of the girls who finds a guy having a crappy day and I turn it around with just one trip to the old and forgotten section. When I walked into the library I decided that I would look for my book before I went looking for a guy.

She roamed around the library looking through all the old and forgotten books, why is it that the best work was done in the olden days? She thought to herself. She was the slut of the town but if anyone sat down they would see that she wasn't just that.

I kissed her cheek sweetly.
'Im sorry. I cant'I addmited.

I looked around. I wanted August to like me, but apperantly, I didnt like him. I sighed and open my book

"Why can't you?" I cried out.

'I need to smoke. Is that or suicide'

I shoved August, "Don't say that!" I put my hands through my hair and tried not to rip it out, "Why, August? Why do you want to die so bad? It doesn't have to be that way! Don't you want to make something of yourself!? Show them that you really are something!? Prove to your mom that she made a mistake by letting you go!? Why!?" I couldn't stop crying. The pain in my chest grew worse and worse.
