Comman ground: A pub in England for vamps and weres(starting but will always be opeen to new ppl)

"I don't know...then people woulld really try to break us apart...You know people only hit on us cause we own the bar, but if we were together in public, and then they think 'if they arent together, the bar will not do well then I can get in her pants, or something...'

i sighed and nodded.....

Lash went into the back with Xav. "Hey what's up? The new girl need to be booted? Or did that scent of her's do to you what it did to me?" he was refering to the urge to roll all over her as if she were the flowers she smelt like.

Layla was scared for her life now. "Please just let me go. Maybe Lady Lia should have not agreed to let me experiance modern life in her place of work." She said and tried to get up again.

"Maybe we should just give up the pub or something...."

"no it is fine! if she thinks that you are worthy and that you won't do us any harm then I will be nice to you. I am not even being mean right now. Although I could be, I could be very mean..." I said and let my voice trail off..

"This new girl is claiming to be sent from the gates as a punishment and she is not allowed to leave this pub or something bad will happen, she has papers and stuff like that, and I am just not sure, because the last things that we heard from the gates was very nasty and rude things, I think they are setting her up and she doesn't know what she is getting herself into. She thinks they are doing her a favor, but I think they are using her as a spy to keep track of us. Which isn't her fault unless she really does know what is going on. That is why I am not quite sure of her yet. Or maybe the brain washed her. Either way, it is not good whatever is happening, because the gates will never be civil with us again, and them trying to be is not their type." I said to Lash wasiting for him to respond.

"No, we arent giving up on it!"

i looked at the time. it was an hour before dawn. "We should start to close down. only an hour left till dawn"

"Yea good idea.." I headed inside.

there werent anymore vamps or weres outside so i went. i turned the sign to closed.

"Last Call.." I yelled out.

i would be happy when i could just upstairs and relax with him.

i stopped serving drinks and looked around for Lash.

"So she is the gatekeeper...no one she smells like a flowershop." He said and sighed. "Listen just watch her. When I smelled her she didn't smell evil or mean. She was honestly scared of me when I pinned her against the wall."

Layla sat down and looked at her hands folded on her laps. "It has been a very long time since I have been out in the world." She said and refused to look up. "Honestly it is a brutal place now and I do not wish to ever come back here.

i found Lash over by the new girl. "Hey. we can go now."

as soon as everyone was cleared out i was going to go up to the apt and take a shower.

"Thanks" I said to Lash and I went back into the club and over to where Layla and my cousin are. "She is fine, we just have to take the paper and show it to Lia. She can stay here as long as need be." I then took Layla by the hand and took her over to the bar. "What kind of drink would you like?" I asked her, offering to show her that it was going to be ok now.

I watched as my cousin took her over to the bar. I still wasn't sure what to think of her no matter what Lash and the others said. I was going to make it my duty to find out more about her. I was not too keen on having people from the gates here and either should Lia. I will probably just go and talk to them about it later.
I got up from where I was sitting and I walked out of the bar. I went back home to relax and to think about this some more.

I locked up and went upstairs, breathing a sigh and stripping to my boxers.

i went up to my room. i striped so i was nude. i grabbed my towel and walk sort of sleepily to the door of the bathroom.

"Lash...."

"So...tonight was ok..right?" I asked her.

"Tonight was fine....shower with me?"

"Of course.." I took my boxers off and smiled. "Like what you see?"

I smiled. "I always have"

"Yeah...Hey guys make sure you lock the back door when you leave." Lash said and took Em by the hand and lead her outside through the back door. Then he would lead her to his car. "We can come back for your's later." He said as he unlocked the passenger side door and opened it for her.

Layla blinked at the guy. "I have only had water and red wine during my life time. Therefore I would not know what to drink here. I heard in a pub there are many things to drink I just do not know." She explained and looked at the bottles. "No one likes me here...and Lia has seen my papers."

"Well now that I know you are ok, I am totally fine with you. And the others will warm up to you, they just don't like new people very well...trust me Lash will warm up and so will everyone else. It just takes a little bit that is all...My apartment is one of the ones upstairs, if you want we could go to my apartment for a bit and chill and talk or you can go to your apartment wherever that is..." I said to her with a quizzical face not knowing if she stayed here or not since she wasn't allowed outside of the pub. I went and locked the back door and then got ready to go upstairs. I waited for her to see what she was going to do.

I was still very worried about that girl. Everyone would probably warm up to her and stuff now that they will have seen her papers. But I am not going to. I don't want to seem like a b!tch but I just don't trust the gate people. So I was going to watch her very carefully. I went to the shower and showered and then got my book and got into bed and read for a little bit before closing my eyes and falling asleep.
