"well it is about time that you guys are finally doing something... Like dating! yeah that's the right word." I said and started laughing. "thanks for my drink."

"Yeah I know I smelled her when I came in. Right away...Weird how that happens. Well not actually but yeah, that is not what I came in here for, I just came in here to see what was up and if there was any trouble that I could solve or stop. Kicking people out of here is so much fun and I haven't had to do it in such a long time." I said to him laughing. He knew what I meant, we used to kick people out and stop the fights all the time.

"Your very welcome...and there hasn't been many fights here since Lia stopped letting the humans in." He said and looked over in the corner at the girl. "Go on a keep her company...she could very well be trouble...she was sitting in the bathroom crying before the bar opened." He gently reached over and started to play with Em's hair.

"that sounds like a good idea actually. Yeah I will go over and see what she is up to. thanks." I said as I walked away to let the finally lovebirds do whatever it was that thye were doing. I walked over to the girl in the corner and introduced myself. "Hey my name is Xavier and I can tell by your smell that you are not from around here." I said to her sniffing her.

"Hey do you two want to come out for a movie night tomorrow night? Then there is a party at my house afterwards." I said to Lash and Em and whoever else was listening. "I need some body protection there. My ex dip sh!t there is starting crap again and I don't want to deal with him." I said more directed at Lash then at Em.

i smiled at Lash again. i loved him and he loved me...."Yea...maybe B."

i was looking around for my love as well doing bouncing. i was not letting any humans in.

"I am up for it if you are Em." He said and kissed his love gently on the cheek. "After work that is I work tomarrow."

Layla just about jumped out of her skin as the male came up to her and started to speak to her. She looked him up and down and especially watched his lips move as he spoke. "Indeed I am not. I am from the gates." She said before swallowing hard. "You are not going to push me against a wall are you?"

"Yea. im game as long as you are Lo-Lash."

"I have no reason to push you against a wall. What are you doing here? And the gates? You wreak of vampire smell...how can you possibly be from the gates. Well besides that garden smell that you have, but I can tell their is vampire in there...or else you would not be in here... I do not believe what you are saying and if you continue to lie then I will have to escort you out of here." I said to her and then sniffed her some more. Something was not right about this girl.

"I have not told Xavier yet about Jack being back into town. he would go ape sh!t and it would ruin his whole night and I know that I am going to have to tell him but as for right now, I just can't...I hate ruining his nights...All though I am not sure about that girl and I have a feeling this might not end up too well...She is a vampire isn't she..." I said to Lash and Em.

"I dont know what she is...i dont even know her B."

"She is all vampire...a garden smelling vamp but she is a vamp..." He answered and served a few more customers. He took a sip at a soda that he had made for himself. "Like I said she just showed up here."

"I am the gate keeper to vampire paradise." She answered. "Therefore I am a vampire." She looked down at her hands folded on her lap. "My superior told me that I can not leave the bar. That if I do that bad things might happen to me. "

"but you can't even smell her. I smelled her as soon as she got into here. I don't know anyways let me know if you guys are coming or not before it closes I will need to know...I am going over there to make sure that he doesn't creep her out too badly and to make sure that she is going to try something funny on my cousin...Talk to you 2 love birds later." I said with a smile. I grabbed my drink and headed over to where my cousin was...

i finished my last scotch and started to drink my water.

"Hey cousin can you stay with her here for a second. I need to go and talk to Lash." I went and left my cousin with the girl. I walked over to Lash at the bar..."Hey can I talk to you for a second please?" I asked him.

"Hey my name is Brigit and I am a vampire just like you, and so you are here to do what? We really don't need your kind around here...Actually you guys are the complete opposite of us..." I said to her... wondering relaly why she was here and knowing my cousin he would get down to the bottom of this no matter what he had to do.

i looked at my watch. the bar would be closing in an hour. an hour until i could have fun with lash.

"Um sure....HEY LIA! I AM TAKING MY BREAK. EM WILL COVER ME!" He shouted across the pub and nodded to Xav. "Alright come on lets go out back and talk." He said before giving Em a kiss. "Please watch over things for me...I promise to reward you tonight!"

Layla whimpered gently. "My superiors ordered me here so I could learn of the modren world." She said and stood up quickly. "Perhaps I should have taken the punishment of refusing to come." She said she took out a paper that any vampire would know was an document from the creator and handed it to vampire girl before she started towards the bathroom. Hopefully they would let her go back to the gates.

I grabbed her arm before she got any farther away. "you are not going anywhere. You are going to stay right here, and I will call my boss over and we will look at these papers and we will see what is going on here. I am just really confused as to why they would send you here out of all places, when they don't even like us, in fact they hate us and the last time that we talked to them it got ugly and that is why we hang out here, so we are thinking that they sent you here so that they can keep an eye on us and learn about us and then attack us when we are weak. You may not know it, but I know that is what they have been trying to do for a very long time. And what did you do to honestly deserve a punishment like that?" I asked her not letting her go.

I was just going to go into the back with Lash when I seen Brigit grab the girls arm and pull her back. I then looked at Lash and said, "we better go over there and see what is going on." I then started to walk with Lash over to Brigit and that girl.

i took over as barista.

it was fine. Lash needed his break and i knew that em was good for making drinks. i looked aroud for my love. he was probably floating around somewhere.

(Pausing so Karena can post as the male owner of the bar.)

I came out of the back room after re-organizing the things back there. Now I could actually find the napkins...I looked for Lia.

i took out my phone and texted him.

im at the front filling in as bouncer. :ash knows somehow and it has me freaked out...

I moved fast. "Sorry love, I was looking for the napkins and then ended up reorganizing the back.."

"Its ok...im just kinda freaked out that he knows...."

I hugged her fast. "He won't tell anyone...I'm sure of that."

"i dont think he would.......i pay him well and i saved his life from a pack of evil vamps..."

"I know all that...I know he's loyal...most 'wolves are.." I kissed her head before letting her go, putting on my 'cool and collected' look .

i nodded..."Maybe we should just go public..." i said softly...
