Layla shrunk back against the wall as the male who had come into the room braced himself against the wall. She was trapped between his arms. Her heart beat fast as he leaned into her and smelled at her hair.

Lash growled and trapped that new vampire girl against the wall. He knew she was trouble he could tell. She acted innocent but why would someone so innocent be in pub like this. So he leaned in and smelled her. She smelled of honeysuckles.

i nodded and went to go get dressed in my work clothes. black leather heeled boots, tight black leather pants, a nice black blouse, and my black leather jacket. i put my hair up in a bun.

I put on some black jeans, black combat boots, a black shirt and brushed my hair.

Layla just stood there scared to death. She wasn't sure if she should scream, fight back, or just faint. She swallowed hard as his nose pressed into the hair on the side of her head. She could feel his hot breath as he exhaled.

He inhaled once more. The closer his nose got she smelled more like a garden filled with the sweetest smelling flowers. It was very intoxicating. The bosses were up stairs probably getting their freak on. He knew about them...he could smell eachother on themselves..they might be able to hide thier relationship from the world but not from him....which would mean he would have some time. He leaned into her letting her feel his heavy body pressed against her.

i went down to find the new girl. i found her with one of bouncers. Lash. "Lash dont scare her. get to the front door. we open in 5 minutes,"

Lash looked over his shoulder at his boss and gave her a bright smile that flashed his pearly whites. "As you wish my master." He said and pushed off the wall to go to the door. He twisted the lock and waited for his boss to tell him she was ready.

Layla stood there stunned for a long time before she went over to Lia. She figured if she stayed close to her then no one would bother her.

i put my hand up. "You cannot be my shadow. mingle with the people who come in here. Lash is fine too....he just has to get used to you."

Layla looked over at the bouncer that had pushed her against the wall. She didn't think that he needed to get used to her...what she thought is that he would want to eat her. "He is a werewolf right? Are you not scared that he will turn on you.."

"He wouldnt. he cant actualy. i saved him from almost being killed by some evil vamps. plus i pay him well."

Layla sighed gently and looked over at Lash. He was starting to let people in. A group of female vamps came in...next a werewolf couple. She looked around and found the perfect spot for her. She sat at the table hidden in the corner.

Layla hoped that no one would notice her were she sat now. This world was strange and it scared her. People looked hard and mean even when they were supposed to be having fun. Girls wore practically no clothes...

Lash saw one of the usual girls come up in the line. "Hey ther Em. You can go in no need to wait." He said with a bright smile. Now that female smelled like lavender and jasmine...perfect.

"thanks Lash." i went into the bar to go find Lia.

"Hey tell Lia that all your drinks tonight are on me Em." He said and gave her butt a small smack as she went by. God he loved flirting with that female. Though he had no idea if he felt the same way or not.

i turned my head and winked at him. "Thanks." i blew him a kiss. i walked away and went to the bar where Lia was working.

i smiled when i saw Em. "You know you should just tell him you like him. then you two can sneak off and get laid."

"Oh really. and whose your booty call?" i asked her

"Thats my secret. scotch on the rocks?"

i nodded. "Lash said my drinks are on him tonight. you know i love a good secret."

Layla was listening in. Apparently this girl wanted to be with the male who had pushed her against the wall. That was interesting.

As he let people in he kept looking over at were Emily was sitting. Goddess she looked so good just sitting in the dim light of the bar.

"I know you do and im not telling you. its mine and his secret....." i trailed off. "Ill get Lash to sub for bartender. i walked over to him. "Go sub in at the bar. ill be the bouncer tonight"

i wondered what was up with Lia as i took a sip of scotch

"Alright boss...she giving you a hard time about your serect love affair..." He asked with an evil smile. "I promise not to say anything but I don't understand why it is a secret." With that he walked over and stood behind the bar. After serving a few drinks he leaned against the bar were Emily was. "So what are you doing tonight when the bar closes?" He asked.

i finished what left of my scotch. i smiled. "Im always free when its you asking." i said to him. "More scotch please"

how the fuck did he know about my relationship with my lover? i shook my head and let only vamps and weres in.

He smiled and got her another scotch. "Does that mean you are going to stand up some male for me?" He asked and leaned over the bar again. "Because that would be a major bonus."

"Naturaly. Mother is always trying to set me up with blind dates. shes always talking about how she was mated at 18 and blah blah blah blah blah." i said to him. "Whats up with Lia tonight? she seems spacy"

Lash smiled and looked over at his boss. "You know she would kill me if I told you....lets just say she has a secret garden and that garden has a secret key...and someone has that key." He said and chuckled to himself. "And he puts his secret key in that secret garden in secret."

"Why though? why would she want to hide if she loved someone?"
