"No! My heart tells me your sweet and wonderful and perfect! Now I want you out!!!" I screamed the last part as I cried. I pulled the blsanekt over my head and I cried and shook violently.

I nodded. "I'm with you man." I kissed Mia then got up and grabbed my gn and dagger.

"Alright." He said and grabbed his weapons. "Where you feel like hunting tonight bro. I feel like killing a certain wolf? Think your mate's friend can help me find him?" He asked walking towards the gate. Where he saw Revenge talking to some guards."Great...mister I am so cool in a fur coat."

Mai got up out of bed and slipped into the bed with Destiny. "Hey." She said and pulled the blanket off of her friends head. "How are you feeling?" She asked. "You still need to feed...and since Rave is mad and you are mad at him...you can drink from me."

I shook my head and leaned over the side of the bed and threw up. "I dont want to drink unless its from Rave." I pulled the IV's out of my arm that was pumping blood into me.

I walked over to Revenge and the guard with Rave. "So what did you find out Revenge?"

Mai sighed. "Stop that. They are going to think that you are crazy and they are going to take you away and put you in the mental ward." She said taking the IV and popping it back in. "This blood is to keep you alive not feed you...you need this..."

Revenge sighed and looked at his sister's mate. "It looks like two gaurds were found knocked out. Not only did they have roofies but also J.D. in thier system. They don't remember who gave it to them. The gate was then unlocked with a key...the type of key only a warrior could have..."

Rave could bet that his brother was missing his key to the gate. He didn't say anything though. He was trying to think why he would want Mai to be hurt...then he remembered that Rage was Terror's partner and that there was no record of Rage being at the Codex the day that Terror died. "Well shit."

I cried. "I hate what I've done. I cant believe I messed up so badly."

"What Rave?" I looked at him

He yanked harder at her hair making her throat be open to him. He took it with his fangs drinking greedily from her vein. His body still thrusting as it closed in and went over its climax.

"Its okay. I probably would have freaked out too...listen...think you could cover for me if the Aides came back...I have to see my brother." She whispered. "Something...werid is going on with me...I can feel people." She said "I can feel your gilt and even your baby's essence within you...its werid...and confusing."

Revenge focused his attention to Rave who had decided to speak out. His hand gripping his cane so hard that his knuckles were white. Someone had attempted to hurt his sister...he needed her to be alive and have that child.

"Rage was Terror's partner...everyone knows that...its just the day he died was becuase Rage called in...everyone assumed it was for a female..but there was no record of him entering the Codex that day..." Rave explained. "Just peices are falling togather."

I nodded. "I'll do my best." I hugged her. "Will you show Rave how sorry I am?"

"That bastard, he had Terror killed so he could take my Mia from him and now he's mad that she wouldnt have him." I growled.

Mai smiled. "Yeah...you can if you want too...I think....I mean we can try.." She said and held out her hand to Destiny. "Just take my hand and close your eyes...picture Rave and project your feeling." She said closing her own eyes to concentrate on Rave.

Revenge sighed and rubbed his temples with his spare hand. "I some how don't think that is it. Mai is a tough female...I made sure of that." He said and looked at Rave and then to Ryan. "Does my sister require...blood from you often?" He asked.

Rave didn't want to hear about Ryan feeding Mai when his Destiny was so mad at him. Then he felt something it was like a knock at his soul that felt friendly and he got a scent...as if Mai and Destiny were standing next to him.

I squeezed my eyes shut and sent a message to Rave. I'm so sorry my love. I feel so horrible about what I did to us. I love you with everything I am. With every fiber of my beeing. You are the only one I want to spend my life with. Please forgive me. I need you. I feel so so weak...

"Yes she drinks from me twice a day. It's because of the baby though. I dont drink from her as much as she drinks from me. But i dont mind. It feels amazing when she does it and I'm happy that I'm helping her and our son."

Rave's eyes snap open. He could feel Destiny speaking to him..could feel how sorry she was...could almost hear her in his head...the message he did get were like words to his heart.

Mai opened her eyes. "Wow." She said and let her mouth drop open. "I didn't think that it would work." She gave a soft smile. "Okay Destiny...umm...can you feel me...like in your chest?" She asked focusing on Destiny in her mind and picturing Destiny in her heart.

"That whole baby thing is just what I told her...what is really happening is..." Revenge was cut off as Rave moved to his side quickly and threw him up against the wall.

"I get it now..." He growled at Revenge. "And if you and Mai were not close to my partner I would make sure that you were sent to that place." He said. "Tell Ryan what you are...what Terror was...and what his mate is...NOW." He growled

Revenged smiled at Rave. "Aren't you clever....I was just about to tell him..." He said and his violet eyes flicked up to look at Ryan. "Have you ever heard of a sympath...or sin eater?"

"Yea.." I looked at her weird. I didnt tell her but it kind of hurt. I didnt know what she was doing but it was scaring me. I knew there was something different about her. I didnt know what but she wasnt just a vampire. I tried to send a message to Rave with out her knowing. Rave...I'm scared...dont leave me alone with Mia for to long..

"No what is that? Are you telling me that my mate and my child are not vampires?" I growled at Revenge. He better be lieing to me or pulling a practical joke.

"We are a breed of vampire." He said gently. "Well Mai and I are half. So was Terror. Thus why I contracted her to him. Sympaths are almost bred out...we feel others...and if the powers progress far enough they can use that in battle by taking in the feelings of others and changing them." He explained. "She never showed her powers but since she is drinking more I think that the bond between you and her has awakened her powers."

Mai went pale. "Why are you scared?" She asked Destiny gently. "There is nothing to be scared of." She whimpered gently and slowly got off the bed. "I would never hurt you...." She was starting to get scared and angry and tired as if she worked on her feet all day...and then sad again...

"Why didn't you tell her what she was?" He shoved at Revenge's chest. "You bred her to keep the gene alive some kind of caring brother you are." He said he couldn't feel Destiny anymore because Mai was not focusing on connecting the two of them. "Fuck..she's alone with Destiny." He turned on his heels and started to take off running towards the hospital wing.

"You-you're not a vampire. Your something else. How can you send messages to Rave? And show him the dream you had? What are you?" I moved as far away from her as I could which wasnt very far. I was still very weak. Rave I'm sorry...I love you..I thought. I couldnt help but think that the last time I saw Rave I yelled at him. I started to cry.

"YOU BASTARD!" I did the best I could to shove Revenge back and punch him. The woman he loved was some mosnter and she didnt even know it. I ran after Rave. I had to tell Mia what she was.

Mai's eyes went dark. "I am a vampire. I was born in a Codex and raised by my brother who was a vampire...I just..." She ran her fingers through her dark hair as she was hit with another wave of emotions. "I wasn't able to do it until I met Ryan." She looked at Destiny. "Like I said I would never hurt you...look I am going to leave...tell the Aides whatever you want I can feel your stress reaching the baby..." She said and backed towards the door.

Revenge grabbed Ryan's arm before he was too far away. "What are you going to do to her?" He asked but his grip didn't last long because Mai hit him with the same wave that hit her. She was feeling every emotion in that hospital and now so was he. "I'll rip your head off if you hurt her or the child Ryan." He yelled.

Rave came into the hospital room just in time to see Mai grab her head as if in pain. Quickly he went over to Destiny and scooped her up in his arms. He was looking her all over. "Are you alright?" He asked in painc.

"I would never hurt her! I love her!" I yelled as I ran to the hospital. I found Mia on the ground holding her head. I ran to her. "We need to get you out of here. I picked her up and ran through the Cotex to our room. I sat down on our bed and held her close and rocker her. "Shhh my love its ok I'm here."

I looked up at Rave and held onto him. "I'm fine she did hurt me." I watched as Ryan ran with Mia out of the room. "What is she Rave?" I shook my head. "She's not a vampire. She could feel my emotions and he helped me send that message to you.."

"She is a speical type of vampire. One that is very dangerous and rare. Its called a sympath." Rave answered his mate setting her back on the bed. "Are you sure she didn't hurt you? Even if it wasn't on purpose Destiny you need to tell me."

Mai hide her face in Ryan's neck and breathed hard for a few moments. "What's happening to me Ryan?" She asked her arms wrapping around him. Trying to hold him close to her. She could only feel him now...and the wave had stopped when he had come in the room as if he was a shield. "Am I going crazy?"

"Your a sympath. Revenge just told us. He hid it from you, and because you have been drinking from me so much your powers are starting to come out. I'm so sorry he hid this from you. I want to kill him for doing this to you." I kissed her head and held her close.

I shook my head. "It's nothing...she just made my heart hurt a little...that all." I lied to him. My heart had hurt alot, it still did. I didnt want him to worry about it. I told myself I needed to calm down. The stress was starting to get to the baby. If too much got to the baby I could miss-carry I couldnt have that happen. Rave and I both wanted this baby so badly.

Rave looked at her right in the eyes. "Destiny. Ryan is my partner...I can't change that but I don't think I want you around Mai any more....she is...dangerous okay..." He said and kissed her gently. "I am sorry I left you with her I didn't know what she was..."

Mai took deep breaths. "What's a sympath? I don't understand.." She was starting to panic and that would be sent to Ryan. He would know exactly how she felt. Her vision started to blurr with tears again. "Is it going to hurt that baby?" That was her biggest worry.

"She's my only friend...." I told him. My chest was burning. I couldnt breathe. I took in deep breaths. "Rave....cant...breathe...." it was like I was having a panic attack.

I felt her panic but I kept rocking her. "A sympath is a half vampire that can control other vampires emotions. They are very skillfull on the battle field. Thats why Revenge wanted you to mate with Terror so badly. Terror was one too...so that means our baby is one too..." I kissed her head. "I'm so sorry Revenge hid this from you. I dont want him near you ever again."

Rave got up to get someone to help her. Soon a nurse came in and fit a oxygen mask over her face and started to check her eyes. Rave was pacing in the background. He wanted to find out where his partner was hiding Mai and shake her till she fixed what was wrong with Destiny.

"He's my brother..." She whispered and started to calm down slightly. "He's also the only one who can tell me how to...control whatever is happening to me..." She said. "Funny I thought he trained me to keep me from being a victim...now I see he was training me because of what I was...what I am."

I reached out for Rave. I felt myself start to get calmer. I was so scared. Was this something because of Mia or because of the wolfs? I wasnt sure but I wanted to find out.

"I dont want him near you." I growled at her. I didnt mean it but I couldnt help it. He had hurt her so much by keeping this a secret from her. I didnt want him anywhere near her or the baby.

When the nurse moved out of the way he had taken Destiny's hand and kissed it gently. When her breathing was back to normal he took the mask off her face and asked in a calm voice. "What did you two talk about?"

She sighed and knew that she wasn't going to get through to him right now. She rubbed her stomach gently. "As long as Terror will be okay...I guess I will have to teach myself to control the powers." She said and rubbed at her temples.

I coughed softly. "Nothing really. She took my hand and we sent the message to you." I coughed again. "Then she asked me if I could feel her in my heart then my heart started to burn....it got worse and worse..." I coughed more.

"I'm sorry. I just never wanted him around you in the first place now I have an actual reason to keep you from him. He's a bad person for keeping this from you Mia."

"I want you to do whatever she said but in reverse...whatever she made you do to connect with her...push her away. Don't let her in to you any more." He said and kissed Destiny gently. "Please...do it."

Mai sighed and ran her fingers into her mate's hair. "Its okay." She said and kissed him gently. "I love you so much Ryan." Her eyes met his. "Are....are we still okay? Your feelings have not changed for me?"
