If somewhere in the back of his head wasn't telling him that they were in a public room he would be taking her clothing off of her right now. Goddess he was just so happy that she was alive and safe.

Rev reached over and smoothed some hair back from her face. "Why did they kidnap her? Or how is another question. " He was keeping his voice in a low tone almost a whisper. "I could feel her being scared...and call but it wasn't me she was calling."

I pulled back and whispered. "We have to stop there are people." I licked his lip then bit it. I looked into his beautiful eyes and touched his cheek. "I love you Rave." I kissed him softly.

"Rage came over and upset the girls and they ran out of the dinning hall during first meal and they managed to run out the front gate into the woods outside the Cotex and there were wolfs there waiting and they took them." I told Revenge quietly. "I have no idea how they managed to slip past the guards at the front gate. I will be speaking to the Cotex to find out who was on duty and I am going to kill them."

"I won't go any further." Rave whispered but still kept kissing her deeply. "I am just so glad that little Prism is okay and you are okay." He said and cupped her face in his hands. "I would have lost it without you."

"Are you sure that they are not dead already? Most of the males that gaurd this Codex are mated." He said. "So they are more then likely dead....or bribed. Who would want to hurt the girls though? It all sounds too planned to just be the werewolves happened by and saw them type thing."

"I'm so sorry I ran out." I shook my head. "I just thought I was doing something nice then he just had to go and ruin it." I sat up then I realized something. "The dinner with your mother!" I got out of bed but I was still weak so I fell to the ground.

"I can only think of one person that would want to hurt Mia....Rage." I looked at Rave then back at Revenge. "Do you think he could have planned this? Do you think he is in contact with the wolfs?"

He picked her up and and placed her back in the bed. "Its okay." He said and kissed her gently. "The Aides have been told to tell he what happened and that we will have to wait until tomorrow." He said and brushed her hair out of her face. "Just rest baby."

"I don't know. I don't understand why he would want to hurt her like that." Revenge said and brushed his fingers over his mohawk. "Damn it I don't like not knowing what happened to her....how did you get her back anyways?"

Mai murmured something in her sleep and cudddled in tighter to Ryan and gave a gentle shiver like she was cold.

"I wanted to tell her we were naming the baby after her." I looked up into his eyes and leaned my head into his hand when he touched my face.

"He would do that. You dont see they way he was looking at her today." I wrapped my blankets around her and pulled her close. I kissed her head and rocked her slightly.

"I know you did baby but if you don't get your rest then you are going to hurt the baby." He said and ran his fingers into her hair. "Just rest today and when they let me take you home then we can go see my mom and tell her okay?" He asked and kissed her

Revenge sighed and got up he caressed his little sisters cheek gently before looking at Ryan. "I don't know why anyone would hurt you Mai but I promise they will pay for it." He whispered and made eye contact with Ryan again. "I am going to go check the gates."

Mai snuggled with the blankets and seemed perfectly happy to be asleep in his arms weather it was in the hospital wing or in thier own room. She loved him in his arms either way.

"Ok." I kissed him and turned my head and closed my eyes. I went to sleep in my Rave's arms.

"Ok check everything out then come back and tell me what you've learned." I pulled Mia closer. I didnt exactly like Revenge touching her. But I couldnt stop it. He wasnt going to hurt her.

When she was asleep he looked over at Ryan. Rave growled gently. "I'm surprised that you and Mai are still here. She is fine." He couldn't believe he just said that. There was just as much risk that Mai would have been hurt.

She stayed with here eyes closed. She got the feeling of something pulling in her chest and then images of a bar came into her head. The bar was downtown in the human city near by. It was a place were vampires and werewolves were required to be equal. She stayed asleep...and watched events

I nuzzled Rave in my sleep. I didnt know it but I was trying to calm him in my sleep.

I growled. "Whats that supposed to mean Rave? I'm sorry that Destiny was hurt but its not my fault that they hurt her instead of Mia. And you know as well as I do that if I tried to leave with Mia they would make her stay."

Rave growled gently. "I think you been keeping something from me partner. I heard him say that he felt her when he touched her...heard her in his head and heart. That is why she wasn't hurt...why didn't you tell me she had powers?"

Mai shifted in her sleep as if she could feel the hostility. In her dream she could see the corner stool of the bar where two people sat. She didn't know who they were that much wasn't clear but there was an evelope passed between them.

I growled back. "We just thought that it was a connection that only she and I had. We were going to ask you if you and Destiny felt it too but we forgot. I didnt know she could do it with other people. Oh and I think it was your brother who fucking did this to the girls."

I woke up when I heard Rave growling. "Rave?" I whispered. "Is something wrong? Is someone where?" I didnt open my eyes I was too tired to do that. I just listened to Rave and Ryan. What? Rage had done this?....

"Why would he possibly hurt my own mate. He didn't even have anger towards her until this morning." Rave shot back holding Destiny close to him and kissing her forehead. "So your logic is flawed because it was right after that the girls were attacked."

Mai took a deep breath and sat up from where she was. "It wasn't Destiny that they were after at all...it was me..." She shouted at Rave. "I could hear everything being said and shame on you Rave." She said facing him. "But your brother hired the wolves to mess with me so I would be put in my place."

"Mai it is not nice to lie to people." He said growling and revealing his fangs.

Mai hissed at him revealing her own fangs. She quickly got off the bed and had his wrist in her hands. They made eye contact and soon he was cussing.

"Shit Mai...." He whispered. "That is one hell of a gift you were given Mai...so it was my brother. All because you would talk back to him. Destiny was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

I looked at them. I was scared. What was Rave's family like. Was he just acting nice so I could have his child then he was going to throw me away like Rage did with all of his mates? I didnt really know anything about Rave. I had just met him then agreed to be his chosen. What if he's exactly like his Brother?

"Mia come back here I think you've scared Destiny enough." I saw the look on her face and I saw her trying to push Rave away.

Mai broke eye contact with Rave as her mate spoke to her. She made her way back to the bed. She snuggled up close to Ryan and looked up at him. "Do you want to see it too?"

Rave looked down at Destiny. "Sweetheart calm down." He said and grabbed her hands. "What's wrong with you?" He asked seeing how scared she was now. "Please baby speak to me."

"Later, when we are alone my love." I kissed her head and watched Destiny and Rave.

"Who-who are you? Are you really the sweet kind man I fell for? Or is that all a mask? Are you evil like your brother? I dont really know who you are. I fell so quickly with out finding out who you really were. Are you just some kind of man that takes mates and breeds them then throws them away for a new play toy like your brother? Do you have any other mates other than me?" I was crying. I was so scared but I spoke what was on my mind and on my heart.

Rave got up out of the bed. "You shame me Destiny. I have loved you from the moment I have met you. I risk my life to go into werewolf territory to save you and you doubt my love." He said and looked down at her hurt. "I am not my brother. I have been with only one other female in my 150 years of life and she was not my mate. You are my mate though I feel as if you now regret it."

Mai got close to Ryan and closed her eyes. She hated that Destiny and Rave were fighting and she thought that it was her fault. She nuzzled into Ryan's chest gently.

I reached for his hands. "I dont know what I'm thinking. They hit my head so hard. It's making me doubt, doubt our love. I hate this. I hate myself, I should kill myself for doubting you. My head is all mixed up and it hurts so bad I cant read my own thoughts properly. You are the only mad I have been with and the only man I have loved."

I rocked Mia. "Shhh baby shhh."

Rave sighed and leaned down and kissed her forehead but didn't get back in bed with her. "Just because my brother is a player and not a very nice man does not mean that I derserve to be doubted by my mate." He said the hurt clear in his eyes. "And it isn't the hit on the head that made you think that."

Mai stayed quiet. In her head she was playing it as if it were her and Ryan. If they ever doubted her love for eachother she would just die. She needed his love...needed him to be close to her forever...she prayed to the goddess that they would never have a fight like this.

I started to cry more. "Please please I'm sorry I'm so so sorry. Forget what I said just forget it. I cant live with out you. If you leave me I will kill myself and our baby. Please come back to the bed and hold me. Please!"

I held Mia closer. I was never going to let what was happening to Destiny and Rave happen to us. Never ever.

Rave sat down in the chair that was next to her bed. "I won't leave you. I can't leave you it would drive me crazy if I did. That does not mean that I am not mad at you. And if you EVER hurt yourself I will never forgive you. You are my life Destiny. To hurt yourself is to hurt me."

Mai whimpered gently and nuzzled into his neck. She didn't know how hungry she was until then. Without thinking any further about the fight that was happening in the room her fangs came out and latched onto his neck drinking a large mouth full.

"I dont want you here if you are mad at me then. Leave and come back when you forgive me. I will stay away from you until you forgive me." I turned so I wasnt facing him but then I had to watch Mia and Ryan. I couldnt look at them either. I put my face in my pillow.

I gasped and moaned when she started drinking from me. I didnt pay attention to Rave and Destiny anymore.

Rave rubbed his head gently. "Fuck. Destiny you expect me to just be okay when you doubt my love? You expect me to not be hurt?" He started to cry for the second time today. "All I ever wanted to do was make you happy and I get this?"

Mai drank only for a few moments more. She stopped and licked the bite wound shut and looked at her mate being embarressed that she lost her self control and bite him like that. "I'm sorry."

"I told you I'm sorry! All I know about you is your family! And because of your brother I'm in here. Because of your brother I almost died and lost our baby. How am I not supposed to be doubtful when your related to such a monster?!" I cried harder and moved as far away from him as possible.

I kissed her. "Dont be sorry its fine, it was for our baby." I held her close and stoked her hair.

"Does your heart tell you that I am like my brother?" He asked before he stood up and looked over at Ryan in the bed next to him. Mai was wrapped up in his arms. "I am going to go kill something you coming bro?" He asked

Mai looked up at Rave and sighed. Both Destiny and Rave were hurt right now. Maybe it was the best thing that the two of them go and hunt down some rouges or some werewolves. "Go..." She told Ryan. "I will be fine...you have to go..you have to have his back."
