I followed him and walked close to him I loved his hand in mine.

I hung up and kissed Mia. "They are going to be here soon." I pulled her up into my arms and we stood there holding each other.

Rave gently knocked on the door to Ryan's room. "Its me." He said knowning that he wouldn't let anyone in without knowing who was there. Espeically with a mate inside...a pregnant one at that.

She sighed as the knock sounded on the door. She didn't want him to have to go but she knew that he needed too. "Go ahead love." She said and curled her fingers around his.

I walked with her to the door and opened it. "Hello Rave, Destiny." We stepped back so they could come in. I kissed Mia. "I need to go now love. I'll see you soon."

I walked in with Rave. I new he had to leave I kissed him hard and touched his cheek. "Stay safe, come back to me."

"I promise." He whispered. "Don't worry Ryan will have my back and I will have his." He said and kissed his Chosen gently again before he went to the door. God he do didn't want to go but he had to keep her safe.

She kissed him back and put his hand on her stomach. "We'll be waiting...daddy." She whispered and tried to stop the worry from showing in her eyes. Terror had died in the line of duty...but he didn't have Rave looking out for him. So she let him go.

I watched him leave. This was the saddest thing I had ever done. I didnt want him to leave my side ever.

"I love you both." I rubbed her stomach. I pulled away and walked to the door. I looked behind me one last time then walked out with Ryan. When we were out the door I said "That was so hard."

When the guys were gone I turned to Mia. "Hi.. I'm Destiny."

"Yeah it was for me too." He said patting Ryan on the back. "Was it harder for you though I mean she is pregnant?" He asked he wanted to be prepared for what would happen if Destiny were to get pregnant.

"I'm Mia." She said wiping a tear from her cheek. "Sorry." She whispered. "Its just I lost a contracted Male in the line of work." She explained. "Not that Terror meant much to me...but he was a good male."

I nodded. "I'm sorry." I was on the virge of tears myself. I reached out and touched her hand.

"It was alot harder it felt like I was leaveing two instead of one. I dont even care that he is Terrors flesh and blood. He is my child and I love him as my own. If anything was to happen to either of them I would die. I love them both so much. I never knew I would know a love lke this."

Rave sighed. "Man I am not looking forward to having to say goodbye everynight from now on." He said and looked ahead. "My father once told me that it was a different kind of love...being a father...but it was no less deeper."

Mia took Destiny's hand. "I am sorry but I didn't get much sleep during the day hours." She said and smiled at her companion. "I am sure that Ryan would not mind if you watched tv while I napped a little." She said her spare hand rubbing her stomach. The baby was moving an aweful lot like he knew that Ryan had left.

"Yes my father said the same thing..." We stood at the gate. "I would do anything to make sure that they were safe. I'm sure you would do the same for Destiny..." I sighed. "So how was last night?"

"Oh well I'm actually kind of tired too...Rave wants children as soon as possible...We woke up kind of early...The sun was still up." I blushed and looked down knowing she knew what I meant. "So I'm sure we can both sleep in the same bed and nap. If you dont mind that is.."

Rave nodded gently. "I would do the same." He said and smiled as he was asked how last night went. "It was great actually." He sort of blushed. "She was great then and again this morning."

She smiled and nodded. "I wouldn't mind at least I won't be alone. It would be hard to be alone in that bed after...never mind come on." She said and moved over to the bed to lay down. Her hand caressing the small bump. "Calm down Terror." She whispered to him gently.

I got in the bed. "So your going to name him Terror? Thats a good name for a warrior."

I hit his shoulder. "Alright man! Do you think she's pregnant? Or do you not want kids yet?"

Rave rubbed his shoulder. "I don't know I mean she is not in needing so it is hard to tell." He answered. "But I want to have them. I can't wait to have them!" He was excited about that and it helped him forget the lonliness

She smiled gently. "Thats the name of his father. I know it is going to sound bad but if he had never died I would have never got Ryan...even after death he is kind to me...so in his memory so the child will be named."

"Oh thats so sweet." I smiled then yawned. "Wow I am tired." I leaned back and closed my eyes. "You and Ryan make a cute couple."

"Well I hope you have children soon. It would be great if our children were close in age." I looked around. Something didnt feel right...

Rave smiled. "Yeah that would be nice." He said. "It would really be nice for the kids to have someone to play with." He said and started to get lost in day dreams of a child.

Mai rubbed her chest. "I feels like something is wrong." She said. "It feels like Ryan's soul is telling me there is danger somewhere." She said gently. "Come on." She didn't like this feeling.

"Where are we going?" I got up and followed her. I was scared for Rave.

"Rave, stop day dreaming and pay attention. Something doesnt feel right...Do you feel it?" I wanted to run to Mia and hold her and her and Terror safe. Something felt wrong. Like something evil was near.

Rave did feel it somewhere. "The girls..." He whispered. "Come on let's head back." He said turning around. The Codex was supposed to be a safe place but the girls were in Ryan's room where no one would expect a female to be let alone two.

She grabbed Destiny's hand and moved to the bathroom where she locked the door and turned off the lights before climbing into the shower and closing the curtain. "We are going to stay right here. They can feel it if we move...we leave this room and they will think we are definately in trouble."

"Ok." We huddled close to each other. I was scared. I just wanted to be in Rave's arms amd have him telling me everything was going to be ok.

"Lets go." We turned around and ran to my room. We ran in they werent in my main main room. "Mia?! Destiny?!" I ran into the bathroom.

I heard Rave and Ryan. "They're here!" Ryan ran into the bathroom. I pulled the shower curtan back. "Were here."

When Destiny pulled back the curtain I ran straight to Mia. I pulled her into my arms. She was shaking. "Shh my love its alright I'm here."

Rave ran to Destiny and scooped her up into his arms kissing her face all over. "Oh Destiny." He whispered to her and sat on the floor holding her close. "I thought something was after you."

Mai burried her face in Ryan's neck and just cried. "I felt you..." She whispered. "We felt you...felt you tell us something was wrong." She said not meaning at it was her and Destiny but something in her told her that Terror had felt it too. "What was it...it felt so...evil?"

I started to cry and he held me. I wrapped my arms around him. "I was so scared. I thought something was going to happen to you."

"I dont know what it was. All I know I felt something and I knew it was coming for the gate. I had to get you and Terror to safety." I kissed her tears away. I was holding her close when the warning alarm was going off. They needed all warriors to come and protect the gates. But I wasnt leaving, I wasnt going to leave Mia and Terror.

Rave heard the alarms go off but he ignored them. There was no way that he was going to leave his female alone. Especially since what had happened to Terror not many males would be as kind as Ryan.

Mai cupped his face in her hands. "Go." She said and pushed herself out of his arms and to stand up. "Your a warrior....go protect the gates and don't let anyone get harmed." She said and kissed him gently. "There are other women in here two of which had children just yesterday. You have to go and help..."

I looked at Rave with tears in my eyes. "Mia is right, you need to go. Go help the others. We will be safe together." It hurt to say it cause I wanted him to stay with me and hold me. But he needed to go. I had to put aside my own needs for the good of the people. I kissed him one last time. "Go." I got up and moved next to Mia.

"No I'm not leaving you. You already lost Terror. I promised you I wouldnt let anything happen to you or the baby. Rave and I are staying to take care of you both." I got up and pulled her back into my arms.

I woke up in my room, my head was pounding but I remember the boy..Rage? He was totally hot I just hoped to see him again soon
