"who was that?" i asked the bartender when i thought the guy was far enough away.

Enhvy :: Enjoying the sites he showed me, I couldn't help but enjoy Zimet as well. He was wonderfully built, lean and strong. The Scribe Virgin only knows how much I wanted to sink my teeth into him. We kept an easy, light pace and chattered about this and that...just enjoying the company of each other. Then he took me into the woods, I could feel my shadow side wanting to blend, to simply melt into the darkness of the forest. Resisting the urge was almost painful, but I managed. Zimet led me to the most beautiful waterfalls I had ever seen. Under the cover of the crashing water, I whispered to him. "Thank you for an amazing evening. You don't happen to know of a good place to stay when the sun rises do you?" I waited for his response knowing that if he heard me at all, he was one of my kind. I felt already that he was...but I needed to be certain.

Laust :: "I am a business woman by nature. Therefore I propose a trade."

Phoyson :: I was all ears, thinking she was ballzy to even suggest a trade in the position she was in at the moment, when I so clearly had the upper hand. I waited hearing her out.

Laust :: "I will tell you about my curse if you will tell me about yours."

Phoyson :: My next breath came out in a hiss, golden eyes flashing in warning. Why would she want to know about my curse? I wondered, breathing though my nose to keep from hissing again. My eyes held hers, searching for answers to the questions that roamed through my mind. Just as I was about to say something, she added...

Laust :: "Just know, warrior, that you may not like my curse." She traced her fingers along the scales on his elbow. "Is this a deal?"

Phoyson :: I couldn't help it... I grinned at Laust. A full out, sheepishly school boy grin. I repeated, "I might not like your curse?" My gold eyes flashed with the irony of her words. "And what makes you think you will 'like' mine?" I questioned, my skin still feeling the path her fingers traced over it and longing for more of her touch. When she didn't reply and continued to hold my gaze, I caught her chin gently with two fingers. Pulling her closer, unable to resist breathing in her scent, I smiled again. "What makes you think you are even in a position to deal?" Everything about this woman seemed to excite me.

"And yet you could be oh so wrong. i like his type. cuz im a rebal in my home."

Phoyson :: How Laust knew it had been a while since I last fed was a mystery to me, but she was right on and I could not resist what she offered. My teeth elongated, honing to sharp points as I breathed her in again. Mine! My body was screaming, my need pulling my lips to her neck, as I smothered the voice in my head that was trying to remind me it would be proper to ask if she was sure...to be certain consent was completely and willingly given. Ignoring that voice, my tongue snaked out and grazed over her ear. MINE! My mind screamed again, as I drew her into an embrace and slid my fangs carefully over her soft skin. With one hand tangled in her light red, almost pink hair and the other pulling at the small of her back, I took what she offered. The instant my teeth pierced her soft skin, I tasted the drug's effect on her and knew with each sensual pull, she would feel more of me. Wanting her in a way I never had before, my massive snake pulsated against her thigh. "Lausst." Her name spilled from my lips as I fed, we connected with such a stark passion that the serpent inside struggled to break free. Lifting her in my python sized arms, I carried Laust effortlessly into the bedroom. She is mine. "You're mine." I whispered.

Enhvy :: Blushing, I suddenly found my black biker boots very interesting. "I am vampire, as are you." I replied, looking into his dark eyes for only a moment before quickly looking away again. "I don't want to be a burden or anything," I added with haste, knowing that even though I was a tough girl... No vampire can stand the sunlight, we become ash instantly. I reached out towards the shadows and gently fingered a leaf on a nearby tree, clinching the other hand into a fist. Completely frustrated with myself for not being smart. Survival should be your first thought you idiot, I told myself. Why are you letting this male turn you into some kind of sissy? What's wrong with you? Did you forget? You are here on a mission, to find out about your life, your family...this distraction. His name is Zimet, I interrupted myself and my own personal punishment. "Zimet," I whispered softly. "I would be honored if you have a place I could stay temporarily. Of course, as long as I am not a burden to you or your family." I sighed, unable to meet his gaze again.

"You wouldnt be....i um should warn you that im a prince....so when we do go into my home dont mind the tittle...personaly i hate it....my twin sister also hates her tittle...." i said. "anyway...ill send someone to get your bike" i held my hand out to her.

"Would you still have the same answer if i was only trying to ask you if you were hiring?" i asked.

"How dare you call the daughter of Wrath a whore!" i said to him.

Phoyson :: Laust took my vein and every instinct I had screeched...my woman...mine! Ripping off her clothes and pulling her head back by the hair, I pushed my wrist into her mouth. Exploring her skin with the fingers of my free hand, I tore through her underwear with my teeth. My tongue switching from normal to snake, as I drank her cinnamon flavored fire. Trailing my tongue in a straight line up her bare, smooth skin...pausing only to gently circle her belly button...ending at her luscious lips and capturing her mouth with my own. I plunged deep into her core. The dark musk of the bonding scent covering every last inch of her skin. What would have been a poison, sent waves of pleasure to Laust's symphath side. "Laust!" I called, crying out her name as I claimed her, as she took me deeper and deeper. Pressing hard kisses onto her soft, swollen lips and driving her faster and faster, I took her vein again. Claiming Laust in every possible way, as I took every part of her in emotional ecstasy. Laust's darkness clinched down around me, locking me exactly where I needed to be, as I filled her empty vessel.

Enhvy :: Zimet's a prince!?! My mind raced as I realized the implications of that title, that he seemed to so casually dismiss. Dearest Scribe Virgin! That would make his father the king! I clinched my teeth, steeling my mind in preparation because I was not about to let that stop me. But I had to be fair and warn him back, so I took his hand but did not allow him to lead me away. "Zimet." I said, tugging him slightly back. "You should know that I am a rogue. I don't know my father. I know that my mother was a highly valued member of the Chosen..." I stopped, my stormy eyes meeting his dark brown orbs. "What I'm trying to say is...basically...well...your father has the right to kill me." Keeping his gaze locked with mine and my hand gently in his, I gave him this chance to abandon me. Pride kept my head high as I awaited his answer.

Phoyson :: I nodded, barely keeping myself in control. "Anything." I whispered, keeping my unique yellow eyes locked with hers. Mind reeling with what I had done and what I was dying to do again and again. It seemed like years had passed in shear seconds, where one minute I was worried about my best friend dying and talking to my parents and the next I've found my mate for life, ready and willing to bear my soul to her. My ears longed for the soothing sound of her voice.

"You cannot tell me what to do. I will come here if i want to.People think its so great having my tittle and you know what its not! This." i waved my hand around his establishment. "is how I escape the propper bullshit of being who i am and you cant take that away from me." i said to him. i was so tempted to slap him.



Mine! my head rung. "No. You are my guest and my father will do nothing to you. He is not like that. You are not your parents so he has no right to punish you for whatever it may be that they have done." Mine! my head rung again. why was that thought echoing in my head? "We must go. Sun up is soon."

Laust :: Laust smiled gently. "When can we do that again?" She lifted her head up and kissed his lips again deeply.

Phoyson :: The corners of my mouth turned up in a lazy grin, but before I could reply, Laust captured my mouth with her deep kisses. My body instantly responded, a dark growl escaping my lips as my hands roamed over her soft flesh. Lost in her arms, I rolled over letting Laust sit on my stomach and gazed into her eyes, as our lips parted.

Laust :: "What happened that you got cursed?"

Phoyson :: F&ck! Talk about getting ice water dumped over your head. I sighed, unable to stop the memories that flooded into my mind. My hands clinched Laust's thighs as my mind zoomed back to that horrible moment. My voice started to speak, my soul leaking out with every word. "I was wearing all white, having been groomed all day for this moment. Trained my whole life just to meet her, the Scribe Virgin. My father, Phury, has always been the definition of proper...of perfection. I wanted to make him proud..." My voice trailed off for a moment, before I took a deep breath and let Laust inside my mind, so that she could live the memory as I spoke it. "I arrived at the marble fountain, everything was perfect white. So pristine, you didn't want to touch anything...to dirty anything." Pausing as she shared the moment, I chuckled without true humor and continued, "yeah, I felt so dirty. Even though I was so clean. Anyway, I walked up the stairs, bowing to members of the Chosen as they stood motionless, watching me arrive. My meeting was supposed to place me in my father's shoes, supposed to award me the honor of the Primale. Being a newling, you can image how excited I was at the idea of all those beautiful women mated to me. I just didn't realize, until it was too late." Jumping out from under Laust, I paced the room looking for anyway to get out of explaining the rest of the story.

Enhvy :: My gazed dropped to our locked hands, his guest? My stomach fluttered again. Zimet smelled wonderful and I couldn't resist breathing deeply, feeling a strange sense of calm. "Zimet," I whispered. "I am responsible for my parents. Whoever they might be..." Looking up into his eyes again, I was reminded me of the most mouth-watering melted chocolate. At that moment, I decided I didn't care what happened anymore. No matter what, I was going with Zimet. Over his shoulder, my eyes noticed the fading night sky and I knew he was right, sun up was rapidly approaching. "I'll go with you," I said, finishing the sentence in my head... my prince in shining armor. I just hope you are right about your father, the king. Walking, I followed Zimet's lead out of the forest.

Enhvy :: Materializing next to Zimet, I was overwhelmed. The room was absolutely stunning, like nothing I had ever seen before...definitely nothing like the wilderness I was used too. A huge stately canopy bed made a stunning centerpiece, that was crowned with sheer ruby red drapes and golden satin sheets. The bed had enough pillows to make an entirely new bed if one so desired. Still holding Zimet's hand, I glanced to the left seeing walls lined with books, a massive marble fireplace with a high tech TV on top and a pleasant fire already crackling. Looking to my right, I was drawn to a huge bay window that was perfectly designed for curling up and reading. Gasping when I saw the amazing view of the mountains, I put my free hand to my chest. "Zimet, I...wow..." I started quietly, as if words spoken too loudly would melt the room right out from under my feet. "This is amazing!" I said in a hushed voice, before turning and gazing into his dark brown eyes. My heart started to quicken and I suddenly felt light headed. What is wrong with me? I thought before leaning into his chest, not trusting my legs to support me.

Enhvy :: "I..." I started to attempt to tell him, but words failed me. How did I tell him that I wasn't sure if I could stand with out his help? Virgin in the fade, when was the last time I'd even had a single drop of blood? My senses completely overwhelmed by the beauty of my surroundings and by the male who held me in his arms, I felt a stab of panic in my chest. I felt like I was starting to fade. My eyes darted rapidly around the room, as I pushed out of Zimet's arms. Only able to break free from his strong grip because I took him completely by surprise. No shadows, no shadows...I thought as I stumbled and fell next to the fire place. I need the light, I told myself. Just stay in the light.
