"Where is here?" i asked her. i noticed that my voice echoed a little in the huge room.

Tru gave a gentle smile to the princess. "I hope you know that I am not a vampire." he said with his eyes back on the road. "I am a shadow." He thought about what that meant...it meant that he was a highly trained killer as were all the males of his race. Loyal to a fault as well.

Laust gave a soft sigh as she felt her mates body pressed to hers. Her hands moving up his arms and shoulder, she imagined that this is what it felt like to pet a wild animal. He was pure solid muscle, pure warrior as well. Above all that he was all her's. Pulling at him she stepped back until her back was to the wall, her lips met his in a passion filled kiss before she jumped up and wraped her legs around him.

"I do not care if you are vampire. I want to stay with you." i said to him....he had a nice smiled "My mother is half human andd half vampire."

Laust :: Laust gave a soft sigh as she felt her mates body pressed to hers. Her hands moving up his arms and shoulder, she imagined that this is what it felt like to pet a wild animal. He was pure solid muscle, pure warrior as well. Above all that he was all her's. Pulling at him she stepped back until her back was to the wall, her lips met his in a passion filled kiss before she jumped up and wrapped her legs around him.

Phoyson :: My bonding scent flooded the humid bathroom like a tidal wave, smelling better then an old spice commercial. Gripping my shellan's tight a$$, I pulled her onto my already hard and slick serpent. The water ran warm over us, blanketing us like a waterfall, as I captured her mouth with a deep, probing kiss. Feeling crowded in the small shower space, I pushed open the door and set her on the counter. My hardness moving in and out of her core. Sending several things crashing to the floor as we moved in our dance, I pulled her back and forth... again and again... finally lifting Laust in a tight embrace. Just before we both fell over the edge in pleasure, I stepped back and landed on some object. That and the water trail, sent me sliding backwards. Barely catching myself with my free hand and not about to stop until my leelan was sated, I pulled Laust on top of me. Sliding around on the wet floor like an ice skating rink, I had Laust coming again and again...

Zimet :: "Where is here?" i asked her. i noticed that my voice echoed a little in the huge room.

Enhvy :: "Shh!" I hissed at Zimet. "They watching us. The Shadow Castle." If he had asked under different circumstances, I would have told him all about the realm of the shadows. The Shadow Castle is located in a place much like were the Scribe Virgin lives, it is the place where all Shadow males are trained in warfare. The place where the shadows thrive and the place my father calls home. "Shadows into the light," I called. "I know where you hide, I know you are there. I am Enhvy, I'm here to see my father."

i looked at her confused but stayed silent.

It must have taken hours for the two of them to finally run out of energy because Laust was so very sore and swollen but so sated that it didn't matter to her. Somehow she knew she wouldn't be able to walk straight so she rolled off of her mate and curled up against his side. Her eyes started to slowly slide shut as she smiled brightly. She wished she had the strength to tell him how much she loved him and how good he made her feel all over.

Tru smiled at her. "That is sort of different then being a shadow, sweetheart." He said and reached over to tug at her hair. "I think a little human is a good anyways." He wanted to kiss her...actually he wanted to do more with her but he couldn't he was driving.

"Male talk so i understand. what is the difference between shadow and vampire?"

"What is the difference we can be in the sun, we can meld with shadows, we can move in shadows. It is said that we are human and vampire and something else." He answered her as honestly as he could.

"If i wanted i could go out in the sun...but i dont...i like the night...."

Zimet :: i looked at her confused but stayed silent.

Enhvy :: Scanning the shadows, waiting for the movement, I was beyond relieved that Zimet had kept quiet. Then I saw the flicker, the tiniest of movements, and pointed in the direction. "You there," I commanded. "Take me to my father!" Within seconds we were surrounded, shadow males in all black appeared from every shadow and stood silent. The only one who spoke was the young male I pointed out.

Young Male :: "To make all fair, ye have the right. Whip and bind, ye have my night."

Enhvy :: As custom the male bowed before me and I cringed, I knew I had to hurt him or he would face worse from his teachers. Promptly, I bloodied his nose. "Look at me," I demanded. "Now you are my shadow, I want you to lead me to my father. Shadow of the shadows." I took Zimet's hand and followed the boy as he walked off down a long a twisting hallway.

Phoyson :: Watching as my mate's eyes grew heavy, I held her lightly in my arms and stifled a yawn. The moment I heard her soft breathing become shallow and regular, I slid from the bed. Unable to control the desire to fix my love a good meal, to wake her with her dinner in bed. Silently, I walked into the small kitchen and searched the cupboards. Pulling down spices, I rubbed and seasoned two large rib-eyes. Firing up the grill that was on the deck behind Laust's cozy cottage, I went back inside and prepared several veggies. Finally, I put the steaks on the grill and steamed a medley of veggies, drizzling them with butter and garlic. When the food was prepared, I cut some wild flowers, placed them in a wine glass and loaded a tray. Carefully, I made my way back towards the bedroom with food, flowers and wine.

i let her lead me.

Laust leaned against the doorjamb that lead into the bathroom. His shirt is what dressed her body as she rubbed eyes with a yawn. "Hmm what have you been doing out there my mate?" She asked. "I am finding it hard to sleep while you are not...." She looked to see he was holding food for her. That in the vampire way was one of the greatest pleasures a male could do for his mate. Color light her cheeks as her orange eyes gazed at him through her lashes. With that she crossed the room and got back in the bed. She was not modest however and loved showing her mate everything as she lifted her knee to help her onto the bed.

Tru smiled. "Yeah so do I." He reached over and tugged at the girl's hair again. "So where is it exactly you would like to go my dear?"

"Doesnt matter to me. anywhere is better than here"

Zimet :: i let her lead me.

Enhvy :: Walking down the never ending dark hallway, the black dress Zimet gave me swishing at my hips, I could sense us getting closer. Closer to the man who created me, closer to the man in charge of the Shadow realm. Gas scones that lined the darkened hall, flickered to life and died as we past them, leaving nothing but more shadows. As we stepped into the massive room, I gripped tightly to Zimet's arm and there he was, standing with his back to us. The moment we stepped through the vaulted iron doors, his eyes flashed to me.

Shadow :: "So you finally returned..."

Laust :: "Hmm what have you been doing out there my mate?" She asked. "I am finding it hard to sleep while you are not...."

Phoyson :: Nearly losing my grip on the tray as I watched my lovely shellan slide into bed, my poison filled bonding scent washed over the room. M i n e... my mind, body and soul screamed. First I would make sure her hunger was sated, then her thirst and then her body. Sweet Virgin, her orange eyes flickered like a hungry flame and I wanted nothing more then to feed that fire, watching it burn us both. "Leelan," I said my voice a low growl. "You look hungry."

i wasnt sure when i was suppose to speak....maybe i should speak at all?

"Doesnt matter to me. anywhere is better than here"

Laust smiled as she laid back on the bed. "What I hunger for will not sustain my body very long." She said and reached for him. "However it I fear if we keep feeding that hunger that we both will go into comas before long." She chuckled full of warmth and love for her beloved mate. "Will you join me in this meal?" Though it was apparent that he had planned to eat with all along she wanted him to know that she wanted him close to her.

"I have a cabin on the coast if you would like to stay there for a while. I know that as soon as word gets out that you are missing that Laust will come looking for me." He said and tugged at her hair again. He loved the way those straids felt.

"The sea sounds like a nice place to chiill for awhile...and why do you keep tugging on my hair?"

Enhvy :: I dropped to my knees, feeling his power wash over me. The last time I was here, in this very room, it was only in a dream. Dream? What am I talking about it was a nightmare. I never wanted to believe this place actually existed, that this man was actually my father. Pain shot through me, paralyzing me. Two tears fell, one from each eye and both blood red. I wanted to ask why, wanted to ask if he really was the cousin of the Omega and Scribe Virgin...but I had no voice. The only comfort I felt was from my contact with Zimet, my male.

Shadow :: My laughter echoed through the hall, my daughter was so weak...so like that Chosen who thought she could claim my stone heart. A woman could never realized what I really am, what it means to be a shadow. I am the balance, neither good nor bad, but a tipper of scales, never allowing one force to get the upper hand...

Laust :: "Will you join me in this meal?"

Phoyson :: "I want to watch each prepared, nourishing morsel pass between your lips." I explained, in a deep but gentle tone. "When you are finished, then I will feed your thirst. When you are no longer thirsty, then I will feed your fire." Knowing I would feel as much pleasure as my mate felt, I smiled and set the tray on the bedside table. Slicing the most juicy steak and forking it, I raised it to Laust's lips. "Eat dear heart," I whispered, my eyes locked on her soft lips.

i growled. how dare he hurt my mate....my Shellan....i picked her up and held her in my arms.

Enhvy :: Nuzzling into Zimet's chest, I couldn't believe how weak I felt...all because of this man. Never before had I been so weak, well okay...there was that one time, when my best friend Phoyson rescued me...but this felt all together different. I was unable to meet the man's eyes.

Shadow :: Sending a blast of power over the room, I reminded the male who's domain he was visiting. "Who are you?" I questioned him, raising my eyebrow at him. This one had power in his blood, I could feel it. He actually intrigued me.

"Why would you want to know you man whose heart is made of stone?" i said between ground teeth.

"The sea sounds like a nice place to chiill for awhile...and why do you keep tugging on my hair?"

Laust gave a devious smile as she parted her lips and took the meat into her mouth. That was when her eyes opened and she put an hand over her mouth. She quickly chewed and swallowed. "That was...the best thing I have ever tasted." She said and was eager to be fed another bite. Normally she would be on guard and her nerves shot but with Phoyson she could be herself and above all else be happy. So she moved to tuck her legs under her as she leaned into the next bite.

"I like the way it feels." Tru answered the Princess. "Does it hurt or bother you when I do it?" He hopped not becuase he very much loved to touch those soft stainds.

"No...i was just wondering why....heck if you pulled over id let you do more than just touch my hair...."

Zimet :: "Why would you want to know you man whose heart is made of stone?" i said between ground teeth.

Shadow :: Shadow stepping until I was right behind the male, I growled into his ear. "First and foremost, it shouldn't matter why I want to know, just that I do should be an honor. Secondly, just who's daughter do you think you are holding in your arms?" In the blink of an eye, I shadow stepped back to the throne and paced in front of it. "Answer my question male." I demanded, tired of having my patience tried.

Enhvy :: After feeling my father get so close, being almost able to reach out and touch him, I knew I couldn't leave here without talking to the man. I had to do at least that much. Drawing on the comfort I felt from being held in Zimet's arms, I finally spoke to my father. "Dad, we really need to talk." I said softly.

Laust :: "That was...the best thing I have ever tasted." She said and was eager to be fed another bite.

Phoyson :: Sh$t, pleasure didn't even begin to describe the effect that just watching Laust pull that first bite off the fork actually had on me. My yellow eyes locked onto hers. "Leelan," I murmured and forked her another bite. Watching her relax, truly relax, was beautiful. I edged closer to her, adjusting my more than ready snake as I moved. A slight brush of our skin gave me chills and almost sent me over the edge, but I was determined to pleasure her first.

Laust devoured the food as fast as he could give it to her. It had been so long since she had to take to the drugs to keep her symphath side locked into its cage. Rehv was truly a blessing but Phoyson was very well her savior from the life hidden with lies and hatred. She never wanted to leave this cabin again...never wanted to be away from him and with the way that his bonding scent still filled the air and sank deep into her pours it was very likely that she could not leave the house or males could die.

As the last bite was savored and swallowed she laid back on the bed. "I am well fed. Please eat...." She said and curled her body into the lush pillows. "Just do it in here...." It was a hidden plea. Rest never came easy to her. She always watched her back if the symphaths weren't out for her it would be an angry client or family member of a victim. With her mate here she never worried, never glanced at every corner of the room.

Tru chuckled gently and glanced over at the female. "Do you say that to all the guys?" He asked but didn't pull over. He wouldn't risk the chance of getting caught until he was sure that it was on his terms. So he kept driving.
