Rave smiled as he slowly got up and got inside the tub with her. He didn't use soap on her but did take a wash cloth and dipped it into the water to rub it gently across her skin to help cool her down.

Rage laid down next to her hand held her close to him kissing Fire gently. "Yes I forgive you I have no choice but to forgive you because I love you so much." He kissed her once more. "I under stand that you are angry I just don't want you hurt and I don't want to have to kill the child inside of her. It's my old partner's baby."

He kissed the back of her head. "As much as I wish it could be..." He said and kissed at her shoulder. "But you know I have to protect the other's too...I haven't asked Ryan what we are going to do about the whole moving you and Mai off the Codex and yet still working thing yet...maybe tomarrow." He said.

She smiled as she moved closer to him, "I know you were trying to protect me and her unborn child, I shouldn't have been mad." I kissed him gently, "How can you love me so much after the way I treated you?" She didn't mean to say what she thought.

Rage smiled and kissed her lips. "That's easy. No matter how bad you treated me just then you treat me all that more better when you aren't mad at me." He wrapped his arms around her. "I am tired mind if we get some sleep?"

He smiled and went over to her and picked her up gently. He carried her to the bed and laid her down with the uttermost care. Goddess in the Fade he loved her so much that it hurt. He laid next to her pulling her close.

Mai smiled and gave a gentle giggle. She rolled onto her side and started to gently stroke her finger tips up and down his chest. "Yes my love you can sleep."

Rage snuggled into Fire and closed his eyes to fall asleep. He was woken up at dusk by his cellphone going off. It was the Codex's emergency line. He picked up the phone and got the orders to return to the Codex that another werewolf attack was happening.

Rave smiled and kissed her gently. "Now sleep." He said and closed his eyes to fall asleep. He would be woken in the morning to the sound of an alarm going off and his cellphone going off from the emergency number. He got out of bed trying not to wake Destiny as he did so.

Mai woke up but it was not too the sound of the alarm no it was the emotions of the angry werewolves that reached her. She started to cry the anger was so much for her but all at once she felt it going into herself..and released it as...happiness...

I woke up and Rave's phone was going off. He was walking out the door. "Rave? Whats going on? Is there another attack? Please be safe." I sat up.

I woke up and my phone was going off. It was the emergency line. Mia was crying. "Baby I really want to hold you but I need to go." I kissed her then got dressed. I kissed the puppy. "Take care of her little guy." I grabbed my gun and Knife. I ran out to the gates and saw the wolfs.

He nodded to her and kissed her gently. "Yeah it is an attack. I will be as safe as I can." He said before getting dressed and grabing his weapons. He reached the gates to see that the wolves were not acting normal...normally they would be snarling and growling...now they were just sitting there as happy as can be. He came up beside Ryan. "Hey What's going on."

Mai held the puppy close as she kept turning the wolves anger into happiness but she wasn't sure how much longer she could keep doing it..everytime it made her feel weaker and weaker

"So what is everyone waiting for...if we chase them off now there maybe no blood shed...and that Mai should be using less of her powers to stop them." He whispered the last part to Ryan and drew his weapons charging at the wolves

Mai felt the wolves starting to run away and her burden was starting to get less and less. She just couldn't stand feeling thier anger. It scared her and mad her sad.

I ran with him. Everyone started charging and they all ran away. I looked at Rave. "Well that was easy. Now its time to go back to our women." I smiled at him.

He nodded gently. "Hey speaking of the women when are we going to you know?" He asked without being to specific for listening ears around them. THey might think anything would be happening by his statement.

Ai sighed gently as the wolves left. She laid back down on the bed covered in sweat with the puppy licking at her face. She smiled at him and petted him gently. "I am okay." She said.

Rave nodded before breaking off to go to his room. He opened the door to see Destiny curled up. "Oh baby what's wrong?" He asked going over and scooping her up in his arms.

Mai waited for her mate to get back. She was still sweating and breathing kind hard. Slowly she got up out of bed and made her way into the bathroom. She started the water to take a cold shower.

Rave held her close and gently rocked her. "Its okay sweetheart...it actually wasn't that bad...there was no real attacking or blood shed just alot of running." He explained and kissed her gently.

Mai almost jumped when she heard his voice. She opened the glass door slightly and looked out at Ryan. "Yes?" She asked with a smile. "How long have you been there?"

"I've been here for a few minutes. I'm just surprised you can stand. I must not have done a good job last night."
