She rested her head against his chest. "I want a puppy." She said her voice starting to get low and drawn out from being sleep. "And a horse...to ride at night." Her voice was even lower now.

Rave looked at his phone. How are we going to get them both out of here unnoticed? Where are you going to take her? He texted back before he went back to stroking Destiny's back.

"I will give you everything you want." I'm going to buy a house. She wants animals and to be away from people. I'm going to give her everything she wants. I kissed her head. "Now go to sleep my love and when tomorrow comes I will buy you a big house and any puppy and any horse you want."

She made and happy sigh. "I can't wait." She whispered and her eyes closed. She would be having sweet dreams of her new home with a horse and dogs. Her baby and herself being safe.

Rave got the texted and laughed loudly. He couldn't help himself. Big bad warrior girl sympath and she wanted to live in the country with a horse and dog. Cute. Real cute. He sent back and looked at Destiny. He would ask her what she wanted when she woke up.

I kissed her head and rubbed her arm as she fell asleep. I know its strange of her to ask this but I'm willing to give it to her.

I woke up when Rave laughed loudly. "Whats so funny?" I asked rubbing my eyes and yawning.

"Mai wants a house with a puppy and a horse." He said and looked at his mate. His face grew serious as she looked at her. "You want to go with them? I know Mai wants to get away from the Codex because everyone's emotions are driving her crazy but what about you? You want a pony and a house?"

She woke up slightly with a sigh. "I used to have a puppy but Revenge gave me to Terror and I couldn't take him with me." She said half in her dreams...half meaning to explain it to him.

"I want to go....but do you want me to want to go? Do you want me to stay away from Mia?" I hoped that he would say no but I had a feeling that he was going to say yes. I looked up at my IV. "I need more blood baby..." I could feel myself getting weaker already.

"Well your going to get a puppy and a horse and be happy my love." I kissed her head. "But baby you need to sleep you had an intense day today and you need to rest. If you dont sleep I wont let you have a puppy."

"We can get our own house. Close to them but I don't want you around Mai all the time. Sympaths are dangerous Des." He said and kissed her head. "But we will be close enough for you two to visit eachother okay? I am sure Ryan will not mind." He looked at the IV and replaced the bag carefully.

She whimpered and nuzzled into him. "but...I....wa..nt...a...pup...py..." She drifted off with a large sigh and her whole body relaxed back into the sweet dreams of her new life.

I nodded and kissed him softly. "Then were going to the country." I curled up in his arms and fell asleep.

I smiled as she fell asleep. "Well now that your sleeping you get a puppy." I whispered softly. I texted Rave. So..you in?

He smiled and stroked her hair again. He kissed the top of her head and flipped open his phone. Yeah. The Codex is no longer safe for females, true? So I might as well get my mate out of here.

She rolled over onto her side in her sleep her hand resting on her stomach. She was deep in her dreams.

Ok I'm planning on looking for a house tomorrow. You want to go with me? I kissed her eyes softly.

Rave smiled and made the first real big decision that was not just about himself. He had a family now that he had to take care of. Yeah. Besides we can't leave without eachother it would just look werid. Partners true? He kissed his loves head again.

Rave hated to be put on the spot like that. He knew how dangerous sympath's were and now he was asked weather he wanted his mate to be with one while he wasn't around. A pregnant one. He sighed and rubbed at his eyes. Destiny will have to be in bed. She's on IV. Mai shouldn't venture out either.

Rave woke up the next nightfall before his love. He changed her IV bag just for good messure and kissed the top of her head moving hair from her face. He showered and dressed. He then left her a note. Went the house. Be Back Soon.

Mai woke up when someone walked by the room. He was angry who ever it was...funny it sort of felt like Rave but was angry....RAGE...he was outside the room. She sat up quickly reaching under the bed for the gun Revenge had given her. The angry feeling was no longer there....he was gone...

I woke up and Rave was gone. I read his note and layed back down and went back to sleep.

I got up before she had woken up and got ready. I left her a note. I went to go find a house. When I come back I'll have a surprise with me. I kissed her before I left. I met Rave by the gates. "Ready Rave?"

She looked around and when Ryan was not there she knew where he was. She breathed hard and put her gun on the night stand before getting up to get some water. What was she going to do with him not here.

Rave smiled at Ryan. "Yeah I am ready. Lets try and hurry." He said his hands in his pockets. "Sorry about the whole...you know...Mai thing...she really is a nice girl..." He said playing with the change in his pocket.

"Yea I know...and its ok I understand. She can be dangerous..but I pledge to spend my life with her and love her and thats what I'm going to do." We got in my car and drove to the realestate agent. We walked in and we were seated with an agent right away.

I slowed and turned while walking backwards. "I honestly have no Idea..." I said then turned and rushed off. I needed to get across town before sunset.

Rave looked over various houses when he found the perfect two. They were a few miles apart. Ranch style homes with a deep basement system that was large enough to have a bathroom and a nursery in. He nudged Ryan with his shoulder. "Hey what about these two?" He whispered.

Rage growled as he prowled outside the door. Mai was in there and he knew it. She was alone in there. Ryan had been wrong...he didn't want to kill her because she denied him. No he wanted to take her against her will so he knew how bad she felt while he did it...He had heard from Terror show she projected her emotions on others. Terror told him the sadness and pain that she felt was heartbreaking...Rage wanted to know what it was like to inflict that and know that she was miserable with it. The only thing that stood in his way was that door that was locked tight.

I looked at the houses. They were perfect. They bought them and signed the papers quickly. They could move in whenever they wanted. They then drove to a pet store and bought a puppy for Mia.

I got up and pulled on some shorts and flip flops. I put my hair in a pony tail and walked to Mia's room. I wanted to say that I was sorry. WHen I got there Rage was outside the door looking very mad. "What are you doing here Rage? We know you are the one that wanted to kidnap Mia." I want going to let him hurt her.

Rage glanced over at his brother's mate. She was really bothersome...what did his brother see in a woman like that anyways. He growled at her gently. "So the werewolves ratted me out..." He said his eyes glancing back at the door. "What are you doing out and about...Destiny was it? Yeah your name was Destiny."

Mai could hear Destiny and Rage outside the door. She didn't want Destiny to get hurt so she got up out of the bed and rushed at the door. She threw it opened to be tackled and taken inside. The door slaming as she hit the ground. Rage was inside now...and locked in side with her.

His brother's mate showing up ended up to be a blessing. He could hear the lock sliding out of place and saw the knob turning. As soon as it was open he was inside with Mai. Before Destiny could get inside he slammed the door shut and locked it. What he didn't know was that he dropped his cellphone outside.

Rave held the puppy out. "He is...a fine dog I guess but are you really going to indulge those fantasies that she has of having a ranch? She's a sympath vampire for crying out loud." He said before putting the dog back down and petting its head.

"LET HER OUT!!!" I banged on the door. I looked down and saw his cell phone I looked through the contacts and found Rave's number I called him crying. Before he answered I screamed trough the door. "I'M CALLING RAVE AND HE AND RYAN ARE GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!"

"Hey dont make fun of the dog." I saidd taking the puppy away from Rave. "And I told you I'm giving Mia what she wants. She's scared about this whole thing. She doesnt know how to control herself. And I mean she didnt ask for this she was born like this.: We got in the car and headed towards the cotex.
